$300 power???

do a google search on hifisoundconnection and see all the horror stories. and if you want a warranty buy from a dealer (me) or OCS only ocs has a valid internet retail warranty!
I know onlinecarstereo isn't authorized for everything they sale, but i believe they are for hifonics

Yeah i didnt really look at their ratings, just saw they had decent ratings on ebay...but i can imagine....nothing against you either but this is just me personally i would not care if i buy from an authorized dealer or not of a product, just as long as the company honors their warranties...

Like me personally i would buy something from sonicelectronix ...they are authorized dealers for some stuff, but like 50% of their stuff they aren't and because of that you get cheaper prices, but they back their warranties so it doesn't matter that they aren't authorized dealers

Thanks for the all the responses guys I am still deciding on what I want to do. I am maybe considering something a little bigger now. I have 4 sr 12's and any how they say 300 watts I have been reading on here that they will be very happy with 400 a piece. I am considering jumping up to 1600 watts. Which would mean the AQ, 9.1, and alpine are out. Any other Ideas in this range or should I just run 1200 and be happy.

The Nine.1 is a very subtle and sexy amp, as well as a beefy little joker. I love the amps.

The AQ1200D is a pretty decent amp.

So lets consider a few things

Sundown 1500D, RD 1750.1 are two great amps to consider, you can even afford to turn the gain down at this point to save your woofers.

The 1610 Hifonics would make a decent choice

Actually, I think there is a used RD1750.1 is a FS thread for just a tad over 300 right now, actually.

hey check out the power acoustik A3000DB it will do close to 3000 watts RMS at 1ohm and is only like 275 if you look around you can get it for less.. but for the money its got the most bang for the buck and if you ever wanted to add more later you would have the power. I talked to power acoustik tech guys they said it will pound all day with proper power supply at 1ohm no problem. I saw a guy with 3 L7 kickers pound with one of those it shocked me, power acoustik has a lets say a not as good a reputation as some other companies out there, but this amp is a great one but only look at that model as far as power acoustik goes. whatever you go with good luck keep asking questions and dont rush and have fun here are the specs 1ch max power 3000 watts... 2300 watts rms at 1 ohm ....1800 rms at 2ohms.....1100 rms at 4ohms.. if you want some of those huge subs but dont have much cash THIS amp will bang the shit outta them any way good luck im sure to get blasted for this lol

haha, if you think that PA amp is doing 3000 Watts, you're an idiot

The PA3000DB is realistically good for about 2k rms, it's not a bad amp in all reality, but the fact is it's not a great amplifier either. Reliability is mediocre and I've had great luck, but never would I turn down the chance to own a RD1750.1 or SAZ1500D before a PA3000DB

I have a 2010d for 330 shipped bnib full warranty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif the 1610 will give you 1600 at 1 ohm. not 1200.spend 30$ more if you want the 1610d and get a warranty from here. they are authorized for factory warranty ebay is not.

the brutus amps are an extremely good value
I will probably be buying a 1610 tomorrow. I was looking over the owners manual and it mentions using Y adapters for a mono signal. I will be running 2 subs, so is that necessary? The manual was kind of confusing because even with the 2 sub set up, it had an * by the RCAs noting to do this. Shouldn't I just be able to run the sub outputs off my HU straight to the amp without Y adapters?
