$300 for New HU

What's the best HU I can get with $300 total I really need to upgrade my pioneer deh6400 that I had since I bought my car.. Dont really care about how much power it puts out since I already an amp for all speakers.

you might be able to find a alpine 9835 somewhere for that price. If not, take a step up from the pioneer tree and get a 860mp or 960mp.

JVC KD-AVX1 for 400.

i have the 7700 and it's fine for the price but I am wanting an upgrade for better crossovers and processing. I guess i mean what are you looking to get out of the head unit

Good SQ and Mp3 playback. That JVC looks tempting but I really havent heard that many good things from JVC car products.

If you are using external processing i doubt you'll see much of a difference between the units, yes there will be some, but more than likely it won't be enough to matter. I 2nd the eclipse though, i'm thinking that shall be my next deck

Well anything is better than the pioneer deck I been having for a long time now. It works fine but need to upgrade with the times.

lol there is one for sale right now in the classifieds for 280 shipped check it out! your going to have to buy them used, ebay or this site and other sites are going to have to be your sources for them.

Lol I'll probably get pwned for mentioning this, but you can get an Eclipse 8445 with a Squaretrade 3 yr warranty for around 300$ on E-Bay. E-bay really isn't the best place to be buying something like that, but its such a **** good price that I think it might be worth it to take a risk on that warranty option.
