3 12w3v2s or 2 12w6v2s

just like the title says. i have one alpine v12 1005 to power this setup in my 86 blazer. looking for sealed box application. what u guys recommend?? im trying to maximize the amp i have. i figure if i get the 12w3v2s in dual 4 ohm versions i can load it down to 2 ohms to maximze the amp but if i run the 12w6v2s ill only be able to get it down to 4 ohms and lose alot of power output

why not get 2 12w3v3's?

you can get them both for $300 shipped from planet hi-fi

Hey....I would run (3) 12w3v2's dual 4 ohm subs...and wire them to a 2.67 ohm load to get the most outta your amp...But i am not a fan of sealed...i had my JL's in a sealed box and they did not sound like they do in a ported enclosure....you have a blazer..good..if you were to go ported and with 3 12's get a 7 cube box and have them facing up with port firing twd the back..i had this similar setup and it did work great for me..but you need alot of power...hope this helps
