what's the diff between this amp and the z2? other than the Guts are differnt?
Just ans my own question, this makes more power in 12 volt applications, the z2 makes more power 16volts and up...good luck with the sale, these are rare and should go quick! Nice gut shots!

your correct the the ddz1a does quite a bit more power then an original z2 on a 12 volt setup.now on 16 volt set up the z2 comes alive.the z1a doesnt like anything over 14.9 volts
