2x 1508's - 3 cu ft - 35hz?

I've always had a fascination with the 1508's. I bought a set last year and they have been sitting around until now. I've honestly been too lazy to build a box.

Anyhow, I came across an old sealed box I had for 2 12's and figured, why not change the front panel and drop them in there?

Ripped out winisd/bbpro and yeah, it seems it could work. I wont be pushing them too hard as I have had 1 in a DDLE enclosure and it starts to bottom really quickly with too much power. Its been running in my wife's Scoobie on very low power just to provide a rear fill. It sound pretty good actually.

I was guessing, id like to give them about 800-1000w @ 1 ohm. I listen to an array of music, but mostly rap, so the lows need to hit hard and have enough boom. Would 35hz be too low? I initially thought about 2 x 5 inch ports, but decided on 1 instead. Woofers will be firing back with the port to the side.

Suggestions or opinions are welcome.

Yeah I figured. Would the extra space not just make them more boomy?
My friend put his 10 in a bigger box than what it should be in. Don't get me wrong it hits and sounds good. But you can tell there is more potential there.

Just had a brain fart. Instead of throwing it in the jeep, how about the in WRX subs forward and port up. This should give the 8s the back seat to load off. I can also flip down the arm rest to get more pressure in the front of the car. Maybe get a M3 or something to run them off.

Good or bad idea?
