i need help on this..i was wondering wut subs would i bee better off...i wanna like shake people up when i drive past them..i wanan like shake peoples pictrus in the houses...im gonna power them wiht 2 rockford fosgate 501s series amps..the grey one wiht the blue light in the middlee..n on the amp certificate it said tehy would run 486 watts continously...soo my problem is i dont no which subs should i get..n ohh yeh i got a 96 2 door grand am..gotta alot of room cuase i dont rally need the back seats..so yehh help me out this it iwl lbe much appreciated.

my brother has 2RF HX2z wiht in a ported box wiht one 1051S rockford amp..n those bump for..i could hear him coming from like a block away... last timee hed drive aroudn n set of car alarms..id get RFs but my personal opinon is that i dont like RF subs..i want something no one has in my area..like RFs are jsut playd out heree...

but id appreicate the helpp htnakss

Good thing you have a lot of space, because if you get a pair of 12" Vegas your gonna need it. The CV Vegas are very good for the money. They put out excellent bass and still maintain good SQ.

Im currently using a pair of the Vega 124d, this is my box:

Use the right specs to build the box and tune about 40hz and they will hear you. Personally I got mine tuned way low (thats just the way I like it).

Vegas hands down. Be prepared to give up space, about 5cuft for 2 12's or 7cuft for 2 15's.

There are better woofers out there. Just depends on what you wanna spend

i finally decided on what type of system im going to get..4 Vega 124 DVCs..now i just have to think about my setup for the system to get the most of the speakers..
