I have 26.63 cubes after disp for one layer of mdf 55x48x20 blow through F-150

If i have to go with 2 layers it will only be 23 cubes, but with bracing I can get away with 1 layer right??

So with 26 cubes before any displacment what would you go with??

4 18's?

4 15's?

6 15's?

Would do 8 12's but too many subs to worry bout

The more I install the more I learn

dont put a 15 in a 12 box

put a 12 in a 12 box and sometimes a 10 in a 12 box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Exactly. I've been telling you SWFL that you need to just go with 4-15s or 8-12s. That will allow you to use multiple baffles and bracing and not have to worry about cutting it close on the volume.

6 15's is more cone area than 8 12's and less mounting room

45 inches on each side compared to 48" i only have 55" depth. Also its cost less and 15's everyone says is the way to go will play low as hell
