my dilemma is that i have a budget of $2500 for my system and i dont know where to go or start. can someone out there help me with all this. i need a bangin system one that looks good and sounds good. can i get a competition type system with this kind of a money. by the way i have my head unit already it is the panasonic tv-stereo head unit. reply please someone your help will be appreciated. i have a 97 honda civic if that would help.

ok seriously., now - with that kinda $ u have a lotta choice. There are LOTS of great products out there but I think, as many will hopefully confirm, its like 70% install 30% equipment - even some of the dirtiest subs can sound like some of the best, so set aside a large chunk of that budget for custom made box, good wiring, good battery etc.

This aside, if u want spl, look into name like dd, treo, reasonnat engineering, orion hcca, mmats, hurricane and shocker audio.

sq - id max, w7, crystal, eclipse.

sql - dd, id max, crystal.

amps - go for BIG class D amps, like Memphis Mojo, or wait for the new MMATS D class - 3000RMS

for components try id, boston, mb quart, dd.

but my best advice is to around and listen to as many systems as ou can and then chhose wht to spend yor $$$ on............

so how much do you think i should spend on equipment and on installation. How much actually should i set aside out of the $2500 fo installation. Can you give me your option or how u would set yours up if u had that amount of money.

Do research on what type system you want eg. bassy or crystal clear. Price everything at a

audio store, and get on ebay and see how much money u save!

i sell car audio for a living

a cheap yet loud way to make a system is alpine type r subs about $180 a piece

a custom box $300 because that is in my opinion the most crucial part, xtant or ppi amps $700 if you can find themif not good ol rockford fosgate, and then a decent pair of boston or infinity components for fronts 300$, and a pair of boston or infinity coaxials for rears 200$. amp those $300 and get good wire $250 and a pro install $300

also if you dont have it already get an eq because your deck does not have one.

i want a system that is crystal clear and loud, i really dont stress bass. the type of music i listen to is rap, dancehall reggae, and r&b do i really need bass for a system like this. with that type of a music how would you create your system. what do you think about this for my sub i was thinking about going with diamond m3 15'"(1000watts) and a mono jbl 1200.1 amp. what do you think about this?

go with to 2 12 massive 3000 watts each and the 4000 watts MA amp and your shit will beat hard as hell that what my boy gots and hes hits 157 and hes getting one one the amp you can get for about 700 and the subs 1000 and 1700 is not bad for a loud *** sytem and you still have 800 got the head unit and wireing

I have one diamond m3 15"

THIS THING KICKS ***

i've prob got about 400 watts rms going to it in a 2 cu ft sealed box, and it is lound and very clear. I listen to rap, techno, alternative, punk, radio, whatever, and I love this sub! sounds great with metallica, nelly, nirvana, my parents jazz, and talk shows.

with a 1200.1 amp that would rip shit up.

do you think the diamond m3 15" would be better than two 12" for a civic. if you had a civic what would you do go with two 12" or one 15". which one do you think is better and why?
