$250 ticket for "noise pollution" WHAT BS!

yeah, so some of you may remeber a little while back when i made the thread about people yelling at me while bumping though downtown saratoga

well today on my lunch break i was going down broadway (main strip) bumping, bass on 0, sub level on 15, vol at 20 out of 35

so i came up to a red light and turned it down to 10

all of a sudden a cop on a fvcking bike rolled up and dsaid "yeah, thats what people love to hear going down broadway" and i said

"sorry, wont happen again, etc"

and he said, "oh yer not getting off this easy this time, youve been warned 5 to many time in my opinon" (it was only 4 warning in saratoga)

and apperently every day at about 345 (time i go home from work) they get ATLEAST 3-6 calls a day on a green volvo wagon.. and they have had an "APB" out to "get me" for a few days, but everytime they get some one out, im "gone"

we was saying all of this real dramtic sounding as he was writing the ticket..

150 for the city

100 for the state, not including the 50 dollar processing fee or some shit like that he said

what a *** =/

thats like a whole week of work at my first job for me

on top of that, my subs arnt hitting right right now..

they sound all distorted,dont move much at all, and barly get loud, idk..

im pissed =/

i looked upo the laws, apperently cops need a db meter and proove that my car was 90+ dbs 50 ft away, and there sint really even a sound ordaance, only 10 pm-7 am or something like that

meh...try to fight it, but don't count on really getting anywhere...if people are calling the city EVERY day, 2 to 3 calls...they are gonna say thats enough to assume its much too loud.

ya man fight it for sure, 250$ for that shit! It goes the same for mufflers and shit, no db meter no ticket. If thats the law or not, i don't know, but its my opinion

Could be worse, I had a party at my house a few years back, cops got called for a "noise violation"...except my city laws didn't have anything for a noise violation so they wrote me up for disorderly conduct....really don't like havin that on my record. I'd take a noise violation over that anyday.
