Didnt know you could wash them. My friend Chip (Yes that was his name) had dreds and said he never washed them but put insnese(sp) in them, well not in, but would smoke it and it would gather up the smells. I know sounds crazy, but that is his story, lol!

washing dreads rids them of excess oil which is good. greasy dreads are gross. also you'll more than likely get some crazy dandruff if you just stop washing your hair.

A good haircut is the number one thing you can do to change your appearance. I can't really justify paying more then 30ish though.

I usually buzz cut mine as well it grows really thick on the sides, just not in the middle, lol! It sucks, but I have grown to get really used to it. Plus I usually sport a hat of some sort.
I envy people with thick long hair!

good to know you envy me, however i do the buzz cut also. much easier to manage, and i only have to buy shampoo like 2x a year.
