Would this be a good midbass speaker for a sealed enclosure?

They suggest a 1.2 cubic foot enclosure with a 2.5"Ø vent by 8" long. If it was in a sealed enclosure as opposed to vented would it have to be larger than 1.2 cubic ft to bring out it's potential? I'm looking to bandpass it between about 60 and 300 and have 100 watts for it. Looking for the best SQ midbass I can get for use in a sealed enclosure. Thanks
