I'm going to ask you what everyone else will ask you. Whats your budget, whats the speaker size, what are you amping them with (I'm thinking head unit power, but not too sure). Component or Co-axil. What sound do you like, bright highs, good mid bass, crisp mid-range (This will be affected by budget). Good luck.

you gotta give us something to work with, and that sounds like HU power, i would recommend amping them for best performance.

My headunit is a AVH-4900DVD Pioneer which is claims to pump 22 x 4 watts

and my bubget is around 100 bucks and I want Kickers

your gonna want to amp them ... once go amp'd you never go back...

even if its a sony 1000 watt 2channel that does 30 watts per channel...

If the speakers are 35 RMS do I still need to amp them? I may only need speakers with out a amp I dont need to much sound I guess, I may need the sound but don't have enough money.

or look at the Polk DB series they sound nice off the HU, and i have some Infinity coaxils that are powered nice by my pioneer HU too
