2014 Honda CRV deck install--will it kill the screen/backup camera?

He could also reset the CMOS on the unit if he finds a flasher but that takes more knowledge than it's worth. Seems like you could get most of the functionality including the correct displayed time if you do so. Again, his avic unit is filling in some gaps for him by displaying certain pages for different audio sources but that will just about be it. That and the multiple backup camera view.
