Hello everyone, I am new on the forums. Looking forward. I absolutely hate my stock system, the bluetooth ***** and the sound is not that great. This is what I have already purchased. I want to finalize my order by the weekend, let me know what you think, thanks.

1) Head Unit Pioneer Appradio2 (Arliberator app for my samsung Note 2, all my apps wide open)

2) Subwoofer Alpine 12" SWR T12 (shallow sub) need room for baby stroller in the trunk.

3) Sub box. built a box for the rear quarter panel.

To buy list

1) Alpine Type R SPR-60C for the front doors

2) Alpine Type R SPR-60 for the rear

3) Soundstream Rubicon RUB4.600 for the speakers

4) Soundstream Rubicon RUB1.700 for the subwoofer

5) 4 farad soundstream capacitor

You don't need a capacitor...waste of money...perhaps put the money you save towards better components? The type R components are decent but there are definitely better options in my opinion.

What is your budget and expectations....music style...etc.

I listen to pretty much everything, rock, pop, top 40, rap. I will be streaming my music mainly.

Let me know what other or better components you recommend.

Also know Honda's have an ELD that limits the alternator output, it will have to be unplugged or bypassed. I had a nice system in my 08 civic (recently totaled) and will be getting a 2013 in a few days and will have to take out the ELD and get a H/O alt.

How hard is to bypass the ELD?

Harder than unplugging it, just google it there's plenty on it. Some people bypass because on some civics it would throw a cel with it unplugged but mine never did.
