I have a zx350.4 in my babes car, she wants a lil Thump but I don't wanna get her another amp. So I was gonna bridge evrythng, highs on 1-2, lo's on 3-4. Thing is I only got 175wrms bridged. So I need a low watted sub (is tht a word?). I was looking at a Massive Summo 64, it's about $100 bucks which is fine with me. I'm open for suggs tho....

Never mind that I ddnt see it was really 6"....

Image dynamics makes some subs that arent too power hungry. They arent gonna rattle your windows but they sound good. My idq12 is really musical. They tend to lean more toward sq as a brand. Almost....don't I need a 2ohm speaker to get 4 @ the amp? An she doesn't wanna shake **** up. There's kappa's in rite now, she jus wants some lo's

They have 4 and 8 ohm. In 10 and 12. I was just leaving a link to explore.

Only if it's dual voice coil. If it's single, it is what it is. I think these are single. On there other subs they avertise it 1/4 ohm or 2/8ohm.

That sub would laugh at tht 175....kicker's comp 12 is perfect. Ya'l have single 12 BP enclosures?

Iv read tht subs get "thirsty" when under powered. An the strain for more power can damage equipment. I'm no expert tho....just something I read

There is no such thing as under powering a sub woofer. Music is dynamic and the volume knob on your head unit is not always all the way up. So the mass majority of the time, the sub woofer is getting less power than what the amplifier is rated to put out at that specific ohm load.
