I hate to do this, but I am selling my truck. This has been my pride and joy. I bought this truck brand new and have been proud of it ever since. This truck sits up pretty high for a 2wd. It sits higher than my 2003 Silverado Z-71 4wd. I got a new job and its 40 miles one way so total of 80 miles each day. I can't afford the gas. It does however get great gas mileage for such a big powerful truck, just not 400 miles a week + personal miles. On highway at 65 mph, it gets 20-21mpg. In city, it gets roughly 14 mpg. So I am forced to buy a car
I bought it brand new and invoiced just above $38,000. I have towed my friends boat, my parents' boat, and my friends Dodge Neon and it didnt feel like there was anything back there. It tows great. The tow button works great
I have added the following and will be included.
Dual Exhaust. Flowmaster 40 series. I dont like to follow the crowd and get whatever everyone else has, but these do sound the best on this truck. No drone at cruising speed, but they are very throaty and have a great muscle sound. They do NOT get raspy at all. I could tell the difference in throttle response and high end hp. Roughly +10hp added and 1-2mpg. Stock is 315 horsepower so you are looking at 325hp with regular gas and 336hp with E85.
Custom Front Grill. Its an Aluminum Brushed Grill. This addition made the truck look 10 times better. I get compliments on it all the time and it really sets it apart from other Sierra's. Looks much better than the Denali grill, thats for sure. This set me back $300 new.
Limo tint with lifetime waranty. It came with very mild tint, but I took it to my tint guy and I had him put 5% in the back window, 5% in the back side windows and 20% in the front. Passed inspection. In the back, you cant see inside the truck from the outside at all. You can see a little bit inside in the front windows. Looking from inside the vehicle, its perfect. Leather seats never get hot from the sun. Truck has been parked in a parking garage 90% of its life.
Ok, here is the summarized lowdown on the truck. This is an SLE2 truck. Technically its an SLT, but its badged as an SLE2 because it doesnt have a sunroof or heated seats.
