I have never delt with stock head units before, every system I have installed has been with an aftermarket head unit.

Can someone please explain to me what I need to do to wire up the amplifier to the stock head unit? I guess I only need to know how to get the amplifier to turn on, and how to send it the sub signal....

line output converter i believe is the right way to do it

u can run a speaker wire to rca wire from ur back speakers to ur amp.

im trying to remember how i did my remote wire to the amp... if i remember ill post back

Okay. I know my friend has an RSX, with only a sub/amp and every time he raises the bass on his stock head unit, bass from his speakers, and his subs both go up at the same time. That is okay with me, as I will just set the gain on the amplifier accordingly so she doesnt blow her shitty stock speakers.

So with a line output converter, It pretty much takes the signal from the rear speakers(that it gets from the head unit) turns it into an RCA connection which would then go to the amplifier. In which I will be able to block out the higher frequencys to the sub with the crossover on the amplifier....

So all I am left with is how to get the amplifier turned on once the stock radio turns on....

Somebody chime in if I am wrong.
