2006 VW Jetta

I have a new 2006 VW Jetta and was wondering what size of speakers are in this car? I have the 6 disk in dash cd player. I looked on crutchfield and it says something like 3.5" or 4" in the front doors, can I fit anything bigger without alot of custom? I was looking at getting some rainbows. Also if I did get these would you leave the stock speakers in the rear door for fill or just take everything out? Thanks in advance.

in the front door, its a 8in, 3 and tweeter. the jl xr 3 ways work really well in that car.

hrmm i am pretty sure they are 6.5, 4, and a tweet in the front. and just 6.5 and tweeter in the rear

edit: to answer the second part of the question, due to the crappy placement of the speakers, i would get rear speakers also. i hear the back tweeters better in my GLI, and no i'm not that tall that i am just sitting the backseat. and who doesn't love that midbass firing right into your ***. way to go VW...

Umm a step up from the value edition but not the GLI, power everything and a 6 disk in dash cd player.
