I tried it geico and got quoted 200+ a month for an old 1987 HONDA CBR600
what impacts the price of insurance? age of bike, cc, age of driver, record?

i heard that some companies will give you a huge discount if you already have a car insured?

like i said for me ( im 19) a 2000 gsxr1000 is 350 a year. As long as you stay under 1000cc's its not that much but as soon as you cross over insurance gets higher. For a 03 mean streak 1500 it was $550 a year. Of course your driving record impacts the price. And if you take a motorcycle safety course.

i am with state fARM and i have been with them for 15 years never had a claim and i am 31 years old with no tickets

plus i have my house and cars and company with them

state farm offered me a deal where i get half off my bike insurance and half off my car insurance, like $120 for both, but the only thing i didn't qualify for is that i haven't been driving for at least 3 years
