Vehicle:
2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8
Components:
Factory Kicker System w/Subwoofer
Addition of Kicker L5 (later upgraded to L7) Addition of Kicker ZX750.1 Addition of Stinger Capacitor (was pointless, was told to add for noise suppression)
This build happened a few years ago, I have long since sold the car (I still miss it).
The idea was to maintain the factory system for the look and to be "stealth". There were revisions to the rear tray (new, with grill/mesh/carpet), addition of a cooling fan, and upgrade of the subwoofer I hadn't taken pictures of. THene there were the exterior items, I did replace the Asanti 22" wheels with 22" Viper replica wheels, and I really like the look of them - I can't find pics of them on. I still have the 3 piece Asanti's that I hope to use on another build......
The reason for this being added now to this forum was to offer insight into a stealth box build in a Dodge Magnum, and was previously documented on Fibreglass Forums. Some of you may not know, but SRT8 vehicles do not come with a spare; this is a perfect location for a subwoofer. The other benefit is the battery is right next to the spare tire well - simple power/ground access!
The box was loud, sealed, tight, and did everything it was supposed to - AGAIN I know Kicker is not everyone's preference, though telling me how wrong I was for the selection of these components is pointless - I no longer have the vehicle, and frankly I don't care.
The materials utilized in this build - Fiberglass, MDF, Foam, PL900, and various other items you would use in a box build.
Please take a look at the pictures, glad to assist in Magnum build questions if anyone needs information.
