anybody know the RMS rating for it. Im running mine on a Sundown sae 1200 and its moving good just wondering what else i can get out of it.

I've gotten away with putting about 1800 to one. It was a 12", but same difference.

Yeah I generally see people giving these 1000-2000 watts or so. Never ran one myself, but a great deal of people run closer to 2000w sometimes more with no problems.

Just because the sub is rated 1600 doesn't mean you need to give it 1600w to operate well..

Can you give it more power? Yes, definitely, it will likely take two of your current amps strapped. Is it necessary? Far from it .
