2005 XXX 15" Trunk Build Questions

Hi so I was wondering a few things about trunk builds, I know there are people who have done them here and I was wondering if you could give me some pointers

I really wanted to glue my box together so it would be a really good seal on it but in the occasion I might want to take that box out of my car the only way would be to cut it up then...

I was thinking about just building the box, siliconing a bead all the way around it and then putting in the port pieces and then siliconing around them also because I can atleast rip that off if I need to

anyways if u have had any bad or good experiences with building boxes inside your trunk then please share

I would like to get a head start on what to stay away from and maybe a few tricks and tips to make it easier working in that small area

btw...my seat wont fold down either so its gonna make it even harder from that too...91 maxima

How about removing the rear seat and sliding it through the opening?

And if I'm reading right you're going to silicone the box together instead of glue. I highly doubt silicone will be strong enough to hold it together...

hmm, well yes I really wasnt sure about the silicone, I did buy brackets like heavy duty ones to stabilize the box but I was still unsure of it

taking out my seat would kind of be a huge task...I have a 91 maxima and the way that thing is built it looks like it would be a pain in the ***, plus I would have to unmount my amps and remove a metal firewall like thing?

Im not totally sure, but it looks like I might have better luck just building inside the trunk...

I was kind of hoping that enough screws would keep it together and the silicone would seal it off air tight...
