2004 Ford F150 stock speaker size

Anybody know for sure what size the stock speakers are for a 2004 regular cab F150? Crutchfield shows me everything from 5.25's to 6.75's.

My son wants speakers for his truck for Christmas. No amp, I'm looking for upper end coaxials.

It has 6x8s in the front doors.

80-96 had 6.5"

97-2013 had 6x8s.
