I really hate to let go of this great beauty. There are no physical issues with the subwoofer. This is like a little brother to my Resonant Engineering HC 15" subwoofer. This is the first ever line of the SE series. This one has the pulp dust cap. Not long after they came out with poly dustcaps and then the poly dish-style cone cover (like on my HC for sale). This is the model that can be reconed into a SEXXX (with an 8-layer coil).
Like the HC, this driver played rediculously musical, accurate bass. The lowend extension was just really nice, too. It would do anything between SQ test tracks to screwed music that would shake my truck. I had great results with 2.25 cubes tuned to 35 hz, but I would probably tune the enclosure lower. I have also done 0.75 cube sealed, but I would strongly recommend a ported enclosure.
