So I recently purchased the iDA-X100 with a Metra GMOS-04 harness for my 05 monte with a nice amp and two 10" subs. I'm doing a self install only because the local install bays are booked up for a week and I dont want to wait. My problem is that although I seem to have the deck wired correctly to the harness it doesnt work. I have power, my antenna is clearly picking up the right stations, but there is no sound. I've done some google searching and it seems like it may be that the stock amp is not powering up? No clue to be honest. The wiring guides are here: http://support.alpine-usa.com/products/documents/OM_IDA-X100.PDF page 46 http://documents.victorytechnologies.com//documents/product/6932.pdf I currently have: Red to Red Yellow to Yellow Black to Black Orange to Orange Thats where I start to get lost. The deck has blue/white listed as Remote Turn-On and the Harness has Blue/White listed as AMP turn-on. On top of that the deck has blue as Power Ant, which one website tells me to go Power Ant(blue) to AMP turn-on (blue/white). Right now all I'm trying to do is get my stock system to work with the new deck. Hooking up the AMP and subs will be my next adventure. Thanks in advance, if your solution fixes my problem I'll paypal you $20 bucks for your time.
