2 xxx's ported, inches of port?

hey there everyone.

i'm going from 2 xxx 15's sealed to 2 xxx 12's ported, when i get them back from David, for motor repair.

how many inches of port do 2 05 xxx like. never done 2 ported, only one ported.

Before everyone gets on my *** about searching, i have, and most of them are about one sub, not two.

i know one likes around 30-35 sq/in port.

would 60 sq/in port be too much for two of them?

box is probably going to be 4 cubes @ 30hz

Rule of thumb is usually 12-16 in^2 of port per cubic foot

Listen to this guy.

Port size is basted off box size and not sub size. Good rule of thumb is 15-17 Sq.In. of port per cu.ft.

yea i realize that.

I was thinking about 55 sq/in port, i just don't want any port noise, if i have to little.

hey bro, if you want a box for 2 12" 4cubes tuned to 32hz let me know. ill get you more specs later. im in so cal.

i made this box but i no longer have 2 12s so its just sitting in my room. lol
