2 volt hu?

so, ive done plenty of installs and set plenty of amps. But they were all of 4 volt hu's that on the amp u turn the gain like 1/3 and the amps at its max, but my hu is only 2 volts and i can turn past middle point without cliping, im just curious if that high of gain is normal with 2 volt, bnecause i know higher gain with lower voltage out

there viper d1200.1 and kicker kx 200.2 both can be turned past mid without clipping but ive only done momentaraly because i wasnt sure what was going on

normal... just set the gains with the tutorial and you'll be alright

im thinking baout getting a line driver jsut cause i hate having to turn gains up that much,w hats a good one? i dont want an eq or anything in it, just a solid line driver

Your situation is different.

In the case of diminishedpower; as long as there is no audible noise from the amp, a line driver would not benefit you any.
