2 stupid computer annoyances that are starting to bug me

Ok, so I have 2 small annoyances that I can't get rid of.

1) Everytime I restart my computer and it boots back up, the system32 folder opens and is displayed on my desktop after every restart. How can I get rid of that.

2) When I open my folder windows (my docs, etc..) they open up really tiny. Is there any way I can reset it to the default setting?

i always goto run > msconfig, click startup tab and goto disable all to get rid of all the bs that comes up when you reboot

in msconfig... the startup tab.... uncheck disply system folder (i think that's it)

for the small window... maximize the window, go to tools > folder options > VIEW tab > apply to all folders... that should take care of that.

How about heres one that bothers me i order a new computer and fedex sends it here in 2 days and i get it and they have destroyed it beyond working order.

This is pretty obvious, but check your start up folder in the start menu.

System32 problem:

If the System32 folder shows on the desktop, there may be an invalid entry in the Registry
1. Start Regedit

2. Go to both:

3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

4. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

5. Double check that the values do not have incorrect, incomplete, or blank entries
