that is not a good comparison... too very differnt subs. I have 3 k 12s and they would tear the L7s a new ******* in sq, but not in spl of course

i beg to differ with the tearing of the a$$hole... i got a box coming in a few days that will probably change alot of people's minds about a kicker L7...

on a side note.. **** i have too many enclosures for my sub!!

i see that kickers sq is extremly low...in general.... is it worse than fosgate? ive heard punch HX2s and the sq wasnt good, but it was listenable, will the L7s even be good enough to listen to on a normal basis?

yet again.. as it has been said about a THOUSAND times... if you use any of the recommended box types that kicker prepairs.. forget about it.. the sub will sound like a turd. but if you design a much larger enclosure and/or a well tuned ported enclosure, you would change your mind a great deal about the subs sq abilities.. i will NEVER say this sub can be a s.q. sub... its simply not meant for that... but to put it in a large sealed enclosure or a well built ported, WOW... could compete with some of the other comparable subs...
