2-sets of comps or 1set ?? $175 budget

i was thinking about running 2 sets in each door. now i have one set of phx gold rsds and they ****/fried. should i get 1 good set or 2 ok sets for my $175 and why ??? any info thanks. this is only for my front doors i have 3-ways in the rear doors

what amp...and how were they wired...cuz i know people have been saying that 75 watts per side they sound great...so that would be 150 rms per set....

i have a 06" hifonics 4 channel 100watts rms x 4, but now i want it louder. i was thinking about putting a pair in each door 2- 6.5s in each front door, they are only $45 a set here. or should i just get one really good set and call it a day

2 sets is going to be louder over 1 set any day.....watch your gains on that amp....that couldve possibly blew those....i'm going with 3 of the rsd's in the doors with a 10" midbass....and one set in the rear (of a crx)....i'll be loud and clear...

you're cheap so get the Powerbass 6.5's from Millionbuy for $36 a set. 2 sets a side will get loud and they don't need a lot of power. Turn your treble off +12 and you won't blow the tweets...
