you can run them at 35hz for more flatter response, and sounds a little better IMO. I had my DD 3512 tuned to 36hz and it sounded great.

The 2.5 sub is not anything like the 3512, what I said is perfect for the power you have.

I dont know about eating the type rs because IF DONE RIGHT the type r is a mean a$$ woofers. If you wanted somthing insanse then you should have gotten an hd3-12 and 2500rms.

looks like i regret buying these lol back 2 fed ex same day i get lol my type r box was small only like 2.8 cubic feet total and i was happy with it this box is going to be almost double with a box that i built instead of ashop

you can play around with it, thats normally when you find what you want, I did alot of that today myself just to bring my score up. You could try somthing like 3cubes after displacement, but normally with little power you want a bigger box.
