[QUOTE="Pyrofan, post: 8153546, member: 656668"] Well. Went to a local audio shop. They quoted me $900 for 2 Jl w1's and a 500 watt amp and the box and wiring. I was little mad at the price. My father came over and looked was wonder if their is any danger in a collision if the box was just sitting in the back not below the seat? I also saw some Memphis PR 10's or 12's. One shop said that i would have a hard time hooking up the sub and would have to buy a adapter. Almost every vid i have seen they just hook a wire that turns it on onto a red wire hooked up to the radio. So, now im back to square one. Their are no Step by step videos on hooking up subs for my truck so, im gonna be working on it blind. I could pay to have it done (but thats no fun) and its $900. Are the Jl W1's any good.
