2 ppi pro 104 dual 4 ohm vs 3 jl audio w0 12 ohm

any suggestions on which of these would sound the best? Im running a Hifonics brutus bxi 1610d amp.

i went with the ppi pro 104s. im thinking my enclosure is to small. how do i know by listening. with the volumes down they sound decent. but anything over a quarter of the way turned up distorts. any suggestions on what might be the problem?
