2 ports vs 1

ok another question is a 10x10 port consider a slot port or no if no then what is the correct definition of a slot port anything not ROUND or square ex. 4x25 or 5x25...

my problem is this ... i only have like like 17 '' max i ccan have for port length and by using 10x10x20 = 35 but if i use 5x20x10=35 so what is the difference...also when i put 10x10 as a slot port the length is only 15...plz someone explain

If you had a 10x10 port, you would need 10" of clearance from the end of the port anyways. To my knowledge, a slot port is any port with strait edges opposed to round edges.

I consider it a slot port. Some might not. Why is your port length restricted to 17"s? Is it a truck box or something.

yes its in a truck ... well i just need to be certain becuase theres a big difference in the length between slot and not slot but ya i have max dim. of 54.5x22.5x13.5 and it cant be on the 54.5 deep part...

that is basically it i might change back to 1 port cus i dont need 2ports if they dont cut down the length.... cus right now the only thing that will fit is the ports for 45 and 50.... everything else is too long so im going to have to thing of something to work ne ideas?
