what is the differance between having 2 ohm and having 4 ohm .is the wiring the same.what are the benifits of each one.is a matter of switch amp switch to 2 or 4 ohms.does 2 ohm take more power.

its just a different wiring configuration. your choice depends on the amount of subwoofers you plan to use and what impedance your amp is stable/ you plan to use run it at.

One is half the impedance of the other.

Anything else depends on what amp and speakers we're talking about.
