Whoever bought the 8gb thinking it was 3rd gen, I feel bad for you. THAT IS A SECOND GENERATION IPOD TOUCH, NOT 3RD!!!!!!!!! Look at the writing under the engraving of the capacity. The 32gb one IS a 3rd gen, it has two lines of writing, and is model number A1318, a definitive way to tell what gen it is. See how the 8gb one has 4 lines of text under there? And is model number 1288? That IS A SECOND GEN! I am unsure if the buyer cares, but they are entitled to know the truth about what they are buying.
