Bought these from the store, only to find out that they were a little too deep to fit into my car so I bought a different set and kept these for someone else who wanted 'em.

Really dumb question, but here goes. I just ordered a JBL 300/4 which produces 75 RMS per channel at either 2 or 4 ohms. As I understand it, these are 2 ohm speakers. If I put these on two channels, would I need to go with 2 ohm components for the other two channels, or could I use 4 ohms?

You could just wire them in parallel for a 2ohm load and it would work just fine.
