Yes in theory this is good, however, some amps will not take this. But it all depends on install.hey got a noob question ..to take advantage of an amps full output ..wire down below rated and amp rise should level me off ..for example ..amp puts out 1k rms @ 1 ohm...i could wire a 0.67 load to it and from amp rise from enclosure i could have around a 1 to 1.4 load drawing max power .
