2 FI BL 12" or 1 15" BTL?

Well i know i want either a BTL or a BL, and im trying to think on which would be louder, since im pretty sure the BL's would sound a bit better.

Run off a sundown 3000, would 2 12 BL's (1500 a piece or so) or 1 BTL (3000) be louder?

im interested in the BTL a great deal but i dont have the money for 2 12" BTLs, nor the money for that kind of amp.

oh and the box for either would be ~4.5 cubes at 34hz

I'm mainly interested in SPL, but i do want it to be able to hit low and decently clear, im not looking for L7 status (loud but sound like crap) so i have taken into consideration that the BL sounds slightly better

Well im wondering which would put up better numbers to be honest, the 2 BLs or the 1 BTL in a decently sized enclosure.

only thing the 12s have is more cone area. and its not much at that. btl all day man. big box, lots of port, and puts up better numbers than bls

i know a BTL will > a BL, but im wondering whether 2 12 "BL would be better than 1 15" BTL. id love to do more but i only have so much room in the trunk =/
