hey guys i got my 2 dd 1508's installed. they are dual 4 ohm with carbon fiber caps. i have them hooked yp to a DD m3. i have some decent power going until they are fully broken in i will put 1k to each ive turned it up a few timd and they bottom out easy. is it just cause they have too much power or box? the box is 1.75 tuned between 35-40 hz. could it be because of the amp tuning? what could help.

5 hours of playtime and they still bottoming out? Hmm try setting your subsonic filter a bit higher and how much power are you throwing them? Bc i had an aq sdc10 and it would bottom out ridiculous easy until it was fully broken in then it would play well under tuning with ease.

ur not bottoming them out it is spider noise. dd/aq has a crappy design with many paper thin spiders and it will make noise when pushed hard until broke in. i dont believe the coil can touch the bottom plate...
