2 CompVR 12" or 1 L7 12"????

Been debating on what to do. Its going in a 03 Reg Cab Ford Truck and i will be getting a custom ported box for whatever i get. Which one woud be louder in SPL? Also i listen to rock (taking back sunday, hawthorne heights,etc) and rap and so i would need subs that sound good with rock too. Comp VR's would probably see about 400 watts at 1 ohm and the L7 would see about 600-800 watts. What do you guys think?

My wife ran a Comp VR 12", and it got pretty **** loud in a sealed box off of about 300 rms, so that would be my suggestion.

i heard my cousins 2 comp vr's and they are nice. BUT the install is going to make your biggest difference. If you put a 12 L7 in a nice big box and tune it around 32 HZ it'll sound good. also depends on EXACTLY how much room you have to work with seeing as its a pick up.

I am running 2 compVR's in a kicker prefab ported enclosure and it hits HARD!!!! I am running em witha kenwood mono amp feeding em 550@2ohms. I would have to definitely recommend the 2 12's.
