Item(s) for Sale:

Two optima yellow top dual post group 75 batteries. Both are brand new. I bought some of these and decided to use caps instead. These are completely unused other than a load test (1000+ cranking amps, resting at 12.84 each). Would like $140 each local pickup, will negotiate Shipping if you want them shipped. I also have some brand new blue tops as well as some regular top post yellow tops if anyone is interested. Check with me on pricing. These were made 2/13.

Definitely great for under the hood. I actually did keep one for under my hood. Very good starting battery base before going to the back. Of course great for extra batteries too since they're fully sealed agm. I've had a single yellow top literally hold charge for like 8 years before. Lol...I once lost my alternator and didnt realize it for over an hour (driving on a yellow top). It did die but recharged perfectly.

And sorry I didn't answer your first question . I use the 2600 Farad 2.5 volt version (now replaced with 3v" boostcap". Wired in series for banks of six at 15v. They are incredibly powerful. I've welded with a bank on less than 12v. I have 1300 farads with my banks (I have a teammate who has over 6000 farads with his banks)

Those supercaps are very nice if you want to run them... Mere peasants (such as myself lol) just stick with batteries. Congrats on the sale OP, let us know how you like the supercaps over the batteries //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh I love the caps. Incredibly strong for burps and 30 second runs. I've had them for over a year. I love them. i just decided recently i was going to keep them and not so db drag next year (they dont allow them).
