He did, he took a picture of them tonight with the sub with my name/date/information to show that it was real.

Although I am still pretty worried because it is a lot of money to send over money, I believe he is a good guy who has no intent to screw anyone over.

I also talked to one of his references on aim.

We'll see how things go, I get my tracking number and everything tomorrow.

I'm sure he's a great seller. I just know that if I get these subs like he described as brand new and everything, I'll be extremely happy, because I got these are an even better price than his asking price. Not going to say the price I got them at, but he is a very good guy and hopefully lives up to his word.

I will keep you guys updated in this thread in how everything is going and will post pictures of the subs when I get them. I truely believe he is a good/legit seller, just you know how it is when dealing with so much money online. Your always nervous until they get to you and you see them.

Just an update, Dave has been a great seller so far. I too was sort of weary about this being a scam or not with the good price and all, but Dave has been a very good seller by meeting all of my requests. First when I was talking to him last night, he went ahead and wrote my name and date and his name on a piece of paper and took a picture of one of the subs.

Then today, he sent the subs out and when he wasn't able to ship them the time that he wanted to get them out by, he sent me an e-mail telling me he ran into a problem and he was heading over to the USPS store. He then e-mailed me after with the tracking #'s and at this time I requested him to scan the receipts and he did with no complaining or anything.

He told me all the problems he had with shipping, basically he couldn't find one of the subs MDF boards so he made his own and packed it with bubble wrap and that USPS didn't have a big enough box to ship them together so he had to do two different packages.

Subs should be here in a week or so and I'll keep you guys updated. Hopefully they get here safe, but all in all, Dave is a wonderful guy to work with so far and all my trust is with him right now.

UPDATE:

Well I am not stating that this is a scam, but it has been 11 days since I sent him the payment, 10 days since the subs have been sent out and still no subs. They were sent out Wednesday the 1st, had Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and now Saturday and no subs.

I am going to be talking to him on aim hopefully tonight and see what the hell is going on.

I will be sending out my W7s to their buyers via parcel post whenever i sell them. Shipping could take over a month!

Yeh I called his friend Mike and we talked, we are going to talk to USPS and try to figure out everything and where they are.

I remember when I ordered my e15K's from elemental designs long long time ago, it took over a month for me to get the subs too, but I didn't expect for something like this to happen again.

I'll keep all of you updated, I haven't talked to the actual guy who sent me the subs, but I talked to the guy who I sent the paypal money to.

I know they are good guys, and don't believe it's a scam because they took pictures/scanned all the information, it's just problems with USPS that we are trying to fix.

If its USPS, then eh, they aren't the quickest with Parcel. One guy sent me money order using USPS mail and it took 1 month. I know the guy didn't send it late because the USPS people stamped it 1 month earlier.

unfortunately, stuff happens. I hope you get your stuff though!
