well i just shipped two pioneer premier 12's out this morning it cost me around $30 to ship the subs so it should be around $45-$50 to ship the hx2's they are pretty heavy subs.

not sure how rockford is about reconing but there probably is a few website online that will recone for u.....let me know if you want em price still stands at $60+shipping

I have never had anything reconed... do you know they just replace the vc or does pretty much everything but the motor have to go? Sorry for the questions. I was looking for a couple of these and just trying to figure out my options for getting them fixed.

im really not sure what exactly they do to recone subs or fix em i know i have had these subs for a long time and there just taking up closet space but im pretty sure it shouldent cost that much to get em fixed.

the cone/surround, spider, and voice coils all come out and new ones will be put in.

Chris Norris used to make some SICK recones for these, but that was a few years ago and I think they were mostly spl. maybe David at RE could do something with them, I believe RE has some 4" coils.
