I'm keeping the truck simple I mainly bought it for towing my new Dozer occasionally or hauling off trash....and debris so 20's will work...better than those tiny factory 18's....

How does that work btw. I never did understand how a car electrical system running at under 15 volts could charge up a 16v battery to full capacity. I would think that if I got one of these that all my extra battery needs would be met, but wouldn't the 16v trip my over-voltage protection in my equipment? What am I missing?

16v requires a 16v alternator, and a step-down module to run the 12v portion of the car. some amps require a 12v remote lead (instead of 5v).

or you can have a dual-alt setup and a 12v battery, the 12v runs the car on the stock alt, with a 16v alt charging the 16v batteries.

your amps also need to be capable of playing on a 16v system, and some really dont like 16v for anything more than burps.

You don't need a 16v alt...If you are using these for burps...only if your running your system daily...with the pair you can bass race or street beat easily....each one has 8400 amps of current....
