2 audioque hd312's vs 1 18" tc 4hp proto

please dont kill me for making another this vs that post... my original plan was 2 12" audioque hd312's... but now snoopdan has a 18" tc 4hp proto for sale.. my question is would my 5kw do better on the 2 12's or the single 18"? the 18 has more cone area, but afaik the 12's would be more efficient because of two motors vs 1. also it would cost me about another $200 over the hd312's for the 18" tc... any suggestions are appreciated.. thanks

i run tc sounds stuff (5200's) and love them, but it seems the audioque has got them beat in the price-performance ratio, especially here... audioque ftw in this case!
