I have 2 R2D2-10s 500 watts each dual voice cone 2ohm subs. Would this be a good investment for my need Some?

I have one amp left. it would push both your subs if they are D2 coils. d2 = 1ohm per sub, in series with the other sub = 2 ohm final load. and these amps are under rated. so you would likely be getting about 500 to 7oo rms to each sub

Gut-busting power and exacting control — that's what you get with Alpine's V12 AccuClass-D mono bass amplifiers. These unique amps convert the incoming signal to digital format, process the information, and then convert the signal back to analog at the output stage. The result — more clean power with more control!

The MRD-M1000 amplifier feeds your 4-ohm sub with a massive 500 watts RMS (1,000 watts with a 2-ohm load). Its built-in digital signal processor controls Bass Engine® features with surgical precision, giving you a level of fine-tuning capability previously found only in Alpine receivers:

you can adjust the subsonic filter from 15-50 Hz (in 5 Hz steps) to eliminate ultra-low bass which your sub wastes energy trying to reproduce;

you can use the digital parametric EQ (which allows you to control the width of the equalization curve, as well as the center point) to improve overall sound;

you can fine tune time correction, phase, and 3-level bass compensation to maximize the quality of your bass.

The Bass Compensator uses Alpine's MediaXpander (used in their receivers to optimize playback of compressed media files) to enhance low-end definition of the amplifier's output. Monitor the temperature, voltage, and current levels using the digital readout.

Alpine's digital technology ensures extraordinary clarity. The efficient Class-D design lets your music sound like thunder without wasting a lot of energy as heat, while the lightning-fast MOSFET power supplies keep your music roaring with life.

The MRD-M1000 has a set of preamp outputs for easily getting signal to another amplifier. The extra-large gold-plated wiring terminals will let your bass really hit, since larger-sized power and speaker wires let the power move more efficiently into and out of the amp.
