2 8" or 1 10"

Hey guys I have a quick question for you. I have one JL10w0 4 ohms powered by a soundstream rubicon 300/2. I was thinking of getting 2 8" kicker compVR's. Which would sound louder. keeping the same amp. The JL is in the power wedge enclosure (sealed). I am thinking of putting the 8's in a sealed box as well, but I want to make a fiberglass enclosure for them so they can be on the sides. The car is a Nissan 300zx hatch. what do you guys think?

Do you guys know of some good 8's that will work with the same amplifier?

PS it will be my first try at a fiberglass enclosure. That Glassman makes it look fairly easy LOL

2 8" Have the better bet at getting louder, since the two put together have more cone area.

That is what I thought but I asked kicker tech the same question but they said they would go with the 10" anyday. I didn't tell them it was a JL though .
