2 8" AA Assassin VS 1 12" Type R

I;m upgrading my system and i made my decision on 1 12" Type R, i have space problem cause my car is a compact, but i found the 8" Assassin and i want to know what can be louder the 2 8" or the 12".

I'll power then with:

2 8": 320x2@4ohm

1 12": 960x1@4ohm

how would you ever compare a 8 inch subwoofer to a 12 inch, in regards to SPL

+1 for the type r my single 12inch type r easily got louder then the two 10" assassins with only 500w on it

Obviously the Type R will get louder...but the cool factor lays in the 8s....

dont expect to hit any gut busting lows with the 8's, they'll be maxing out far sooner then a 12 would

2 8'' Rl-i's > Type R 12'' in the right setup. maybe even 1 Rl-i 8 > 12'' Type R. Install is alot, box is alot in factoring the SPL of a system.
