2 18's Walled.. behind 2 nd row seats???? opinions??

Im getting a new vehicle soon.. more than likely some suv. . . maybe an exlorer... Either way, i want to know if anyone thinks a wall behind the 2nd row seats is a bad idea?? i have only seen it once and it was with 4 15's.. I plan on using 2 18" audioque hdc3-A's on 2 audioque 2200d's... (I have thought about doing the 4 15" set up with the same models) .... either way...

Would this wall work and be efficiant and loud for a daily driver?? or should i just do subs up port back with a couple 10" aeros ?

I had two 18" BL's in a wall behind the second row...then I went to three 18's subs up port back and it was louder but can't tell if it was the box design or more subs/power. Now I have four which you can kind of see in my little pic. If you don't mind losing your view go for it.

sounds good if you have the volume, keep trying to talk my buddy into it, but he has some ***** with 2 kids and is like I need room for a stroller. IMO bass is more important then getting puss from some ***** with 2 kids, but he has no game so I guess he takes what he gets lol

hahaha.. Thats life for you.... But really i guess it all depends on the actual vehicle i get... Too many options. . . Side question, where are you from in Maryland?? I use to live over there for a while... Frederick/walkersville area is where i was from...

hagerstown, I worked at don phillips jeep for about 3 years, they went under when chrysler took jeep from them

my bud has 1 18" hdc318 in an exploder and it smashes, was on 1600w, I did it for him before he moved to florida, then he put in aeroports and he said it was a huge difference, now he has an aq2200 and another battery, I can only imagine, here is a pic, he is so impatient he wouldnt even let me finish the box or flush mount the sub lol. But atleast I got him in the game, he was a pawn shop sub kind of guy, he wouldnt even buy aeroports at first like I wanted him to, he learned his lesson now lol

looks nice... and yea im an aeroport fan myself... I dont care who you are, aeroports are the shit. lol. but yea i hagerstown wasnt far from where i lived at all...that box looks good too.. if those ports were flared though it may make a bit of a difference... not much but something.

well this thread was pretty much useless seeing i decided to go with a car rather than the suv. lol... Now im doing 2 15" ss xxx's in a trunk set up... firing into the cabin sealed from trunk... legal so i can run the NW 1-2 class... probably 8 cubes tuned to 34 or 36 hertz with 2 6" aeros ( i know i could use another ) with 1 ss xxx10000d...... should be able to do anywhere from 152-155 on music when its all said and done with

Hey Jdawg, Do you co enclosures? Im in maryland also. Grew up in Hancock and then moved to Hagertown in 99, Moved up to cumberland 2 years ago and am having trouble finding someone to do a box for me. Blazin, did my 2 last slot ported ones, but that was a few years ago.

Thats funny, I used to work at Hercules Custom Iron. Did install work and then ran their powdercoat shop till 07'. I missed the little drive to Hagerstown every afternnon....what a fukin parkinglot 270/70 was in the afternoons...lol
